Openvidu

Customisable videocall service, easy to launch, and self-managed.

The easiest way to create video conferencing services.

Video conferencing is part of the day to day of almost all companies. And it is not always given the appropriate importance, nor will the same requirements be applied to other internal communication software such as email. In many cases, video calls are relegated to software or applications outside our organisation and each user may choose their preferred.

This, in addition to being an image problem -since many companies use these methods to communicate with clients- also causes security breaches since much of this software doesn’t guarantee point-to point encryption,  allowing external servers to have access to the organisation conversations. Privacy is also a point to consider as many of the most widely used free video conferencing services require user registration.

OpenVidu is different.

OpenVidu allows you to create your own video-call service as part of your system, where it is not necessary to have third-party multimedia servers and therefore the information and flows will always remain within your organisation. In this way, the security, privacy and confidentiality rules that apply to other communication methods can also be applied to video-conferences.

Ready-to-use application

OpenVidu can be used from the start with the standard application that provides all the functionalities to which you are accustomed.

100% configurable and customisable

Anything you can think of can be changed and customised. Add limits to video calls, integrate with corporate login, customise the interface and options available to users, manage different user roles, etc.

On your own premises

... or in the cloud. The OpenVidu platform is distributed as software that can be installed on your own servers or on your preferred cloud provider. You have full control over the platform.

WebRTC

WebRTC is a modern, cross-platform framework that democratizes media streaming over the Internet.
OpenVidu wraps and hides all low-level operations. The main objective is to provide a simple, effective and easy to use API so you can even forget about WebRTC, ICE candidates and other details. You just have to include the OpenVidu client side and the OpenVidu server to handle the media streams. In addition to securing your video calls, backend clients are provided for different technologies or directly consume the REST API that OpenVidu Server exposes.
